Staff shortlisted for Learning Disability & Autism Awards
Two staff members have been shortlisted in this year's National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards. Michelle O'Neill, Lead on Complex Needs, was nominated in the category: Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). Her work using this method has had particularly positive results with one customer with very complex needs and behaviours that challenge. Michelle is based in the Hackney office and we all have our fingers and toes are crossed for her to win on 25th June.
Martin Hampshire, Trainer & Facilitator, based in the Witney office has been shortlisted in the `Trainer' category. Martin designs and delivers courses with a lot of lived experience from his various roles working at Advance for 15 years. Many of us have benefited from these courses and we will be rooting for him to win at the awards ceremony next month in Birmingham.
Well done for getting to the shortlisted stage Martin and Michelle!
