LDWeek23 - Building links

We’re proud to support Learning Disability Week and help to bust myths about living life with a learning disability by showing some of the incredible things that our customers achieve every day.

Today we’re highlighting how Advance Housing and Support customers like Frank have built strong links with the local community through volunteering. Hackney City Farm gives the local community the chance to experience farming in the heart of the city. Frank has been a regular volunteer there for many years. He is a popular member of the team and is well-known among visitors to the farm. Frank says: “I like the work and enjoy spending time with people.”
