We are pleased to publish our Financial Statements and Report for 2018/19. We have made consistent progress against our ambitions and believe we are well positioned to achieve the majority of our objectives set out in the final year of our current three year strategy.
Our direction of travel remains the same. We are passionate about achieving our vision of transforming the lives of people with a long-term disability or mental health condition by providing the best quality housing and support services. We do this to enable people to live the lives they choose, achieve their personal goals and know their voices are heard. Working together with our customers, we are proud to support them to transform their lives.
The financial statements have been subject to review and approval by our Board and independent auditors. The Board is pleased to report good progress in the year, particularly in terms of embedding value for money, developing our governance and our approach to risk management. This puts us in a good position to invest in growing our services and developing more homes for the people who need them.
At the same time we have published our annual Customer Report highlighting the progress made against our strategy in 2018/19. The report is available here in both plain English and Easy Read versions. It was developed for and by our customers and is a demonstration of our commitment to ensuring all of our customers are able to scrutinise our performance and see how their voice is heard. The report highlights our response to our annual customer survey, the work of the Operations Board and Advance Collectives and our work to minimise our impact on the environment.
