Farewell party for supported housing scheme in Oxford

Last week staff and customers at one of our supported housing schemes in Oxford held a party prior to customers beginning their planned move to their new homes nearby. The majority of customers will move into a new, purpose built property which is owned by Advance.

Louis Benfield, Deputy Manager and the team helped customers to organise the party for a chance to remember the good times they have shared together. Everyone enjoyed the food, music and games.

Louis said: 'The team has been supporting the customers to plan for the changes over the coming weeks. Customers have accepted that their current housing scheme will be closing and they may have a new support team in the future. We are confident that customers will settle well into their new Advance home and we wish them all the very best for the future.'

An opening event will be organised at the new property once all the customers have moved over and have settled into their new homes and got to know their new support workers.
