Ramiro from Ecuador, and Mos from Taiwan, have been doing a fantastic job supporting our Hackney customers during the lockdown period.
The customers with whom Mos and Ramiro share accommodation, all have regular routines. These include playing pool, going shopping and attending arts and crafts groups.
Explaining the situation and substituting customers' regular routines with short walks and activities indoors has sometimes been challenging for our volunteers. The lockdown has also been difficult for them as they are away from their families.
They are keeping their spirits up by chatting to friends on WhatsApp and watching lots of Netflix! Both volunteers are also in regular contact with Service Manager Paul, and Support Workers from the Hackney Outreach Team.
