Julie Layton appointed Trustee at Association of Mental Health Providers (AMHP)
Julie Layton, Chief Executive at Advance, has been appointed as a Trustee of the Association of Mental Health Providers. She takes on the role with immediate effect, which she will carry out alongside her Chief Executive duties at Advance.
Speaking about the appointment Julie said: “ I am delighted to have been appointed as a Trustee of the Association of Mental Health Providers (AMHP). I am really excited about the opportunity to help shape the future of the Association and the provision of mental health services. AMHP do great work making sure mental health services are adequately supported, that we take a more holistic approach to ensuring mental health services meet the needs of those who need them and that we focus on prevention by championing good mental health. Advance has been a member of AMHP for some time. I look forward to working more closely with the Board of AMHP and raising awareness and understanding of the great work we all do to support people with mental health conditions.”
