Brew Monday 2022
The Third Monday in January is often referred to as ‘the most difficult day of the year’ with people feeling the January Blues. However, did you know that this is a myth? There is no such thing as ‘Blue Monday’. In fact, it was introduced as a marketing tool by travel agencies to sell holidays.
We all have good days and bad days, and those aren’t for the calendar to decide. Feeling low can happen at anytime.
Instead, we are proud to be supporting #BrewMonday, a campaign by Samaritans to combat ‘Blue Monday’ and reinvent today as a day to reach out to our friends, families and colleagues and check they are okay.
Connecting and talking to a loved one can show them someone cares and help them access support if they need it. It can also boost your mood and help you feel less alone.
So… remember to take some time today to message someone you care about and ask how they are doing, it could make the world of difference to their day and yours!
