Proud to have Pride

At Advance we’re extremely proud of the diverse, inclusive culture our colleagues and customers create every day.

On Saturday we were thrilled to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride with our community at Witney’s first ever Pride parade and festival, and share information about ourselves as a local, inclusive service provider and employer.

While we embrace Pride Month as an opportunity to listen, learn and celebrate, we know it’s important that we make a meaningful commitment to equality year-round.  Our dedicated Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group work to continue improving representation and practice throughout Advance, with actions so far including:

• Introducing mandatory training on Unconscious Bias and Understanding Microaggressions for all staff
• Renewing and refreshing our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy
• Continuing our accreditation as a Disability Confident Leader
• Implementing robust Equality Impact Assessments

We will continue working to be as inclusive as possible, so that everyone feels confident and supported to be themselves at Advance.
