Volunteers enjoying their role in Hackney

Kevin, Hannah, Ramiro and Mos have settled into their roles as volunteers with Advance and are enjoying supporting customers in the Outreach service.

The four volunteers have been enjoying exploring the area and getting to know Hackney and the local community. They have already built great relationships with the clients and are adjusting to London life. 

The volunteers are pictured here with customer Tony. Tony enjoys going for lunch at the local cafe and playing pool. The volunteers support is invaluable for Tony - he benefits greatly from the routine and loves having people to talk to. Tony usually wins at pool but he now has more competition as he has been teaching the volunteers how to play!
