Winners of Third Sector Care award
Congratulations to our Vice Chair Melba Wilson OBE, who was named joint winner of the Beyond Governance award at the 3rd Sector Care Awards Ceremony, along with Anne Fowlie from Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.
This award was made to people judged to 'have made an outstanding and sustainable contribution.' Melba and Anne were presented with the award by Esther Rantzen.
Melba joined the Advance Board in September 2009 bringing 20 years experience of work in the public sector.
She celebrated this fantastic achievement with customer Lisa, members of the Advance Board, staff and GMT, and the other nominees at the Marriott Hotel London.
