22/06/2010 - News from Advance Support: Gold medallists at the East Midlands Special Olympics

England squad eat your heart out! John Gleadell & Kate Headland, 2 Advance Support tenants from Boston landed a fine haul of medals at the Special Olympics East Midlands Athletics competition.

John was presented with Gold Medals by councillor Peter Jorden (Mayor of Boston) for winning the 200 & 400-metre races, while Kate was presented with Gold Medal for soft ball & Silver medal for the 50-metre sprint.

Both tenants are keen athletes as they entered the National Special Olympics competition held in Leicester last September. The East Midlands Special Olympics took place on Saturday 19th June at the Princess Royal Sports Centre in Boston.

The 2012 games now beckon...
